Introduction

This blog seeks to explore solutions to gun violence while still preserving the people's right to bear arms. The problem that seems to be plaguing the country is how to control gun violence without taking away the people’s freedom. We will focus on 3 main solutions; gang control, stricter background checks, and standardizing state laws.

Although the country seems to be up in "arms" about the right to bear arms, our message is that there are still people here that are level headed, that will offer solutions that help the "people" to keep their rights.

 All three of us come from different backgrounds; one is from a small town, the other is from a farm, and the last is from a bigger city. From all these different background we are able to have a decent grasp on this issue from a few different angles. All of us are currently students of Brigham Young University.

We realize that in this audience there is a wide range of perspectives, even some that may not agree with our views. As general rule the writers of this blog tend to lean more on the conservative side but seek to look at all angles and still have a variety of perspectives on this issue.

We respect each person’s perspective but evidence has shown that our solutions would better help America control gun violence while still preserving individual liberty.
